Sheen Snaps About Media!

Breaking his silence for the first time since beginning rehab last week, Charlie Sheen had much to say in a pair of brief exchanges with the media Wednesday.

E! News is claiming it texted exclusively with Charlie Sheen, who seemed eager to dispel rumors that his father, is trying to get appointed as a conservator to watch his troubled son's money. "All crap," Sheen reportedly told E!, before explaining what brought him to rehab will remain private, despite the headlines.  "Believe nothing," says Sheen.  "I will never speak about any of this as long as I'm alive. You're all gonna have to keep towing the same redundant line, guessing wrong."
Additionally, Sheen slammed the media as "pathetic" for its constant coverage of his recent troubles: "BTW, two wars are in an endless state of sorrow. Egypt about burned to the ground, and all you people care about is my bulls**t...Shame. Shame. Shame."

Later on Wednesday, however, Sheen released a more subdued statement through his publicist, saying he's appreciative of the support he's received since he began rehab.  I have a lot of work to do to be able to return the support I have received from so many people," the actor began. He thanked CBS and the cast and crew of his sitcom Two and a Half Men for expressing their concern, and also thanked his fans for their "good wishes." Sheen concluded his statement by saying, "Like ERROL FLYNN, who had to put down his sword on occasion, "I just want to say, 'thank-you.'"

Sheen reportedly is rehabbing at home after entering the hospital last week with "severe abdominal pains," amid reports that he'd been doing drugs at his home. Two and a Half Men is on a production hiatus while Sheen receives treatment.
